Warriors who know that the Force is not a shield to protect the useless, but is in reality a weapon to empower the worthy!" ― Desann thanks Kyle Katarn in unwittingly revealing the Valley of the Jedi's location - Listen ( file info) ![]() If you need more info on the mod, feel free to add me so that we can play together." Thanks to you, the weakling Jedi who scorned me will soon be erased from history, replaced by a new race of warriors. I think that happened in your case, although I'm not so sure because you didn't explain it in detail. Player 2 used super push or force repulse to smash Player 1 into an obstacle (wall, tree) delivering a killing blow. Player 1 was crushed by Player 2 -> which means. Player 2 killed Player 1 using a Projectile rifle (sniper) or a Disruptor rifle (which isn't fully charged, but if it were fully charged it would say disintegrated) Player 1 was sniped by Player 2 -> which means. Player 2 killed Player 1 using an E-11 blaster ![]() Player 1 was blasted by Player 2 -> which means. Player 2 killed Player 1 by a lightsaber attack Player 1 was sabered by Player 2 -> which means. Are you sure it was just push, not force repulse? Anyway, let me give some examples of death recaps which will appear as text in the top left corner as I mentioned above. In your case, I'd say you were thrown in a wall and crushed. Whenever someone dies or is killed by anything, a text displays the details of their death in the top left corner. There should be a death camera that replays the moment of death to help people understand and learn what they did wrong and i think newbies would learn alot from that alone. ![]() I don't know for that this bug is to blame or what specific attacks it involves but i was killed by a push with one hit while having 100% hp as a sith, not really certain why that was. Appareantly according to few videos about MB2 is that there is also a bug that you can instant die from different things even if they shouldn't kill you. That is mainly due to death camera which immidiatley stops and usually watches in different direction than any attack was coming from, sometimes it even looks like you just died without any reason at least nothing i could see. In genrale follow the street fighter 4 pro advice and play "lame", the system favors counter attacking and zoneing over agressive or overwhelming styles. The exception is if you keep bouncing a saber into somones defense you will begin to get an attack bonus and force focus which I will touch on later.īeyond that concentrate on learning to "bounce" the saber into them repeatedly when they are defending, getting "back attacks" that go around the defense region, and learning when to attack and when to "block attack".Also keep in mind that blocking directly saber to saber either has no cost to defense points or lowered ( its changed over time and I havent played in a long time).Īlso keep in mind that the jedi unique powers need more invest ment to be what most would consider useful while the sith unique powers are useful right off at level 1 and haveing much lower point investment.Grip is of particular note useful in very "passive" duels or vs runners.īeyond that effectively useing seeing is likely the best thing you can learn to do for gen jedi/sith play. This is only 90% true unless they massively changed it since the wookie rage patch. Originally posted by eizuS♥Thooorin:medium lightsaber hits are always a 1 hit kill when you don't block them. ![]()
